Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SOL Advisers collects when you use this site or book a consultation, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are

SOL Advisers is the controller of the personal information described here. Our registered address is 360 Central Ave, Suite 800, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. We also operate delivery teams in Surat and Vadodara, India.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at contact@soladvisers.com or (773) 916-6024.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form or book a call, we collect your name, email address, and — where you choose to provide them — your phone number, company, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field.

Campaign attribution. If you arrive from an advertisement, we record the campaign parameters in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) and the advertising click identifiers gclid and fbclid. These are stored in your browser for the session and attached to your enquiry so we know which campaign it came from.

Technical information. Our servers receive your IP address and browser user-agent with every request. We use the IP address to rate-limit form submissions and prevent abuse.

We do not collect payment details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and prepare for your consultation. To schedule and confirm the call. To measure which advertising campaigns lead to enquiries, so we do not waste money on ones that do not. To keep the site secure and functioning. To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the sense given to those terms by the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies; on our legitimate interest in marketing our services and securing the site; and on the necessity of processing to take steps at your request before entering a contract, when you ask us to contact you.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with the service providers below, each of which processes it only on our instructions. We do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires it, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.

We never send your email address or phone number to Meta in a form that Meta can read. Both are hashed with SHA-256 in our own servers before they leave them, which lets Meta match a conversion to an ad click without recovering the original value.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies that are strictly necessary keep the site working and cannot be switched off. Advertising and analytics cookies — set by Meta (_fbp, _fbc), Google Ads, and PostHog — help us understand which campaigns and pages perform. Your browser settings can block or delete any of them, and the site will still function.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and our delivery teams are in India, so your information may be processed in either country, as well as anywhere our service providers operate. Where information leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or an equivalent safeguard, to protect it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, so that we can pick up a conversation where it left off. If we enter an engagement, records are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep them. Advertising and analytics data is retained according to each provider's own schedule. You may ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Residents of California may additionally request disclosure of the categories of information collected and may opt out of any sale or sharing — although, as stated above, we do neither.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@soladvisers.com. We will respond within the period the applicable law allows, and we will not treat you differently for asking. If you are in the EEA or UK and are unsatisfied with our response, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

Security

We follow strict data-security protocols, transmit all traffic over TLS, hash identifiers before sending them to advertising platforms, and limit access to enquiry data to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and we will revise the date at the top when we do. Material changes will be made obvious rather than buried here.
